My brothers and sisters in Christ,

May the Lord continue to bless our families and our parish community!

We just celebrated 2 Marian feast days in our community: the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the feast day of Our Lady of Guadalupe. This is important to mention since Mary is the start of this Advent Season. We are awaiting for the coming of the Messiah!

I hope that everyone is getting ready for the celebration of Christ’s birth. We are all invited to the celebration of Posadas from December 15 to December 23 in the gym. They begin at 7 pm every night. This is a celebration in which people are walking with Mary and Joseph looking for an inn to stay and receive the baby Jesus. Also, remember that there will be a Men’s breakfast on December 21^st. We encourage all men of our parish to come together and enjoy this day for you. It is going to be from 9 am to 11:30 am.

Advent Season is about joy! This is why the third Sunday of Advent has a different liturgical color: Rose or Pink. We are expecting Baby Jesus to come. We are very happy! New life will come to us! This is why all the big celebrations in our parish and the festivities that we will have on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Lord Jesus, come soon!

Finally, remember that we are now giving to the Annual Catholic Appeal. It is the most important collection for the Diocese of Spokane. Those funds help our Bishop to fund for different programs for the Diocese of Spokane. In the chancery, we are helping the Bishop with the office of evangelization, the office of catholic education, the office of communication, the tribunal, the office of stewardship and development, the office of vocations, the campus ministry in the universities, the prison ministry, the respect of life ministry, etc. Also, the Annual Catholic Appeal provides for the expenses of our seminarians and our retired priests. Please, help the Bishop of our Diocese with your financial donation for all these ministries in the Diocese of Spokane.

Mis hermanos y hermanas en Cristo,

¡Que el Señor siga bendiciendo a nuestras familias y a nuestra comunidad parroquial! 

Acabamos de celebrar 2 fiestas marianas en nuestra comunidad: la Inmaculada Concepción de la Santísima Virgen María y la fiesta de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe. Esto es importante mencionarlo ya que María es la estrella de este Tiempo de Adviento. ¡Estamos esperando la venida del Mesías! 

Espero que todos se estén preparando para la celebración del nacimiento de Cristo. Todos estamos invitados a la celebración de las Posadas del 15 al 23 de diciembre en el gimnasio. Comienzan a las 7 pm todas las noches. Esta es una celebración en la que las personas caminan con María y José en busca de una posada para alojarse y recibir al niño Jesús. Además, recuerden que el 21 de diciembre habrá un desayuno para los hombres de nuestra comunidad. Animamos a todos los hombres de nuestra parroquia a que se unan y disfruten de este día para ustedes. Va a ser de las 9 am a las 11:30 am. 

¡El tiempo de Adviento es de alegría! Es por eso por lo que el tercer domingo de Adviento tiene un color litúrgico diferente: el rosado. Estamos esperando la venida del Niño Jesús. ¡Estamos muy contentos! ¡Una nueva vida vendrá a nosotros! Es por eso por lo que todas las grandes celebraciones en nuestra parroquia y las festividades que tendremos en Nochebuena (24 de diciembre) y el día de Navidad (25 de diciembre). ¡Señor Jesús, ven pronto!

Finalmente, recuerden que ahora estamos donando a la Colecta Anual Católica. Es la colecta más importante de la Diócesis de Spokane. Esos fondos ayudan a nuestro Obispo a financiar diferentes programas para la Diócesis de Spokane. En la cancillería, estamos ayudando al Obispo con la oficina de evangelización, la oficina de educación católica, la oficina de comunicación, el tribunal, la oficina de finanzas y desarrollo, la oficina de vocaciones, la pastoral universitaria, la pastoral de la cárcel, la pastoral del respeto a la vida, etc. Además, la Colecta Anual Católica cubre los gastos de nuestros seminaristas y nuestros sacerdotes jubilados. Por favor, ayude al Obispo de nuestra Diócesis con su donación financiera para todos estos ministerios en la Diócesis de Spokane.

¡Que Dios bendiga nuestra Parroquia! ¡Que el Señor nos siga proporcionando una fe y un amor más profundos en la Eucaristía!
