It is the expectation of Saint Patrick School that students present their work (homework, projects, tests, exams) according to the schedule presented by teachers. However, Saint Patrick School recognizes that sometimes students need help to be able to perform to this level of expectation. For this reason, we have two policies: one for Kindergarten to 3rd Grade and one for 4th to 8th Grade.
4th to 8th Grade Policy:
Students are expected to present their work according to the weekly homework and projects established by each teacher (schedule that is published in the web-based report card, Snapgrades.net).
If the student doesn’t present work on time:
Parents are notified the same day the work is missing via Snapgrades.net
This missing work will remain as missing in the grade book until teachers input the grades the Tuesday of the following week.
Students have up to the coming Friday to make up that work
At teacher’s discretion, a percentage of the grade might be taken away
If the work is presented past that week, it will receive a 50% credit only
Past the second week, any work becomes zero automatically.
